Test....

Trying to see if the blogger app I got for my iPhone would post!

Background Change..

The background change is for you Courtney!! Ha! Thanks for bringing it to my attention that I still had a Christmas background over a month after it was over, it was time to change!! : )

More crafting...

After doing the painting on the onesises....I decided to get into fabric!! Thanks to Courtney telling me about Wonder Under I now think it is the greatest thing ever!! First thing I did was cut a piece of fabric and a piece of wonder under the same size...then iron on the fabric, place the back of the fabric to the rough side of the wonder under then iron. Then take your image, letters or whatever you choose on the back ** Make sure it is backwards. Then trace and cut out! Then gently peel off the back of the wonder under and place on your clothes (in my case agian, I used a onesie) and then iron on!!! It's that simple!
Oh and my newphews name is going to be David Mack and is going to be called "Mack" so that's why I made M's!!! : )

Also, here is a video that I used to help me learn how to do this the first time! Wonder Under!

Been Awhile....

Here are a few things I have been up too....I have a nephew expected to arrive on March 5th and I have already started making him clothes. I can't wait for him to arrive!!  I found the idea how to make stencils out of freezer paper. It's super easy to do and it was a lot of fun as well!! All you do is find an image you want and print it out and lay it under the freezer paper (shiny side down) and then cut it out, then you iron on the stencil on the fabric (In my case, I used plain white onesies I bought at Wal-Mart ) then you can either paint with facric paint or I did mine using Arylic Paint - When using arylic paint, you will mix it with fabric medium - 2 arylics to 1 fabric medium. Then after using a blow dryer to make sure that your paint it dry (may need to use 2 or more coats, depending on the the color of fabric or paint) and lift up the stencil carefully. And now the last step is to lay a towel over your painted image and iron over for about ten seconds. These directions may be a little confusing but here is a link to a video that I found was a lot of help! Freezer Paper Stenciling Also here are my finsihed products!
